Who has the courage to hand out inflated punching balls and let them hang over the CeBIT as wandering advertisements? That's what happened in 2008 in Hannover.
The idea was to offer the public a give away, that this could be bought for a good cause manageably and neatly folded together for at least "one note" - or they would receive it as a gift and have to carry it, infl ated, around the tradefair.
The press and TV followed this operation with great interest and created added value for the customer from the very beginning with reports and articles on the television. Having achieved fame in the media, LUKAS (as in "hit the…" ("Hit the Lukas" is the German name for the "Ring the Bell" funfair game) additionally benefi tted trade as a POS display. Sports organisations and play groups fought to get one and, with the donations from the tradefair, it was possible to buy a hospital bed for the intensive care ward of a children's hospital.
Result: the Promotional Gift Award 2008 for this crossmedia tool.
